Research interests
My general interest is microbial ecology, namely how microorganisms interact with their environment. More specifically, I am interested in studying and understanding mechanisms that maintain microbe diversity in an ecosystem. More interestingly, I would like to understand how such mechanisms can be used to improve ecosystems that have been deteriorated by anthropogenic activities.
