Literature search is a challenging task because (1) retrieval of all relevant papers is aimed for, (2) looking through long result lists is time-consuming, (3) full-text access is needed, (4) many paper PDFs have to be organised.

In this workshop, we discuss tools and techniques to overcome these challenges.

Every participant works on his or her research topic. Every participant has to bring a laptop computer with internet access.

Please make sure to have EndNote on your notebook. A free trial version is available at http://endnote.com/downloads/30-day-trial

After the course, every participant has to prepare an annotated bibliography with at least 50 entries. The bibliography should be compiled in order to be relevant to the participant’s research. The deadline to send this bibliography to Philipp Mayer is 15 October 2016.
