Some challenges in analyzing brain activity data.
The brain activity is a dynamic phenomenon, highly dimensional and always characterized by indirect observations. There exists various modalities to measure it like Electroencephalography (EEG) or functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). These modalities provide different but also complementary information. In this talk we will briefly discuss how to test for regionally specific effects and how to use multimodal data integration, also known as data fusion, to benefit from the respective advantages of simultaneously recorded EEG and fMRI.
