Philippe Renard

Since 2005, I am leading the Stochastic Hydrogeology Group of the University of Neuchâtel. Our research deals with reservoir characterization in a broad perspective, from modern techniques for well test interpretation to 3D geological modeling and recent geostatistical techniques such as Multiple-Point simulations.  I enjoy also very much a bit of more classical field hydrogeology, practical case studies, and conducting some laboratory experiments.

In terms of teaching, I am responsible for the Bachelor of Sciences on Natural Systems in which we provide a general education in Environmental Sciences for students willing to pursue their studies in this field. If you want to know more about this Bachelor, please just drop me an email.
