Centres of competence

The institute of biology is involved in two centres of competence of UniNE, the centre of chemical ecology (C3E) and the centre of cognitive sciences.

Neuchâtel Platform of Analytical Chemistry (NPAC)

The NPAC The Neuchâtel Platform of Analytical Chemistry (NPAC) is a state-of-the-art service and research facility affiliated to the Institut of Chemistry at UniNE and currently organized in two units, the Mass Spectrometry and Metabolomics Unit and the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit.

NCCR plant survival

Steered by the University of Neuchâtel, the National Centre of Competence in Research Plant Survival started its activity on April 1st, 2001 and ran successfully until March 31, 2013.

Botanical garden of Neuchâtel

The University of Neuchâtel cofinances the Botanical Garden of Neuchâtel, and Professeur Edward Mitchell of the institute of biology is a collaborator there, responsible for scientific research.
